SPOTLIGHT
At Windy Hill Athletic Club, we believe there’s no stronger foundation for well-being than a connection to something bigger than ourselves.
This month, everything we offer – from our classes and events to our active communities and summer programs – is designed to empower you to prioritize your mental health. We’ll be creating opportunities to connect, learn, and rediscover the strength that comes from feeling supported, because we’re stronger when connected.
Join us this month as we explore the power of community in bolstering mental health. Read on to learn more about our vibrant calendar of offerings for the month, like Mindstrong, our upcoming Summer Programming, Windy Hill Community Events… and more.
EVENTS
NEW SEASONAL MENU | MAY 7
We believe that self-care starts with what you put on your plate, so come explore delicious dishes designed to fuel your well-being and leave you feeling energized. Our new menu launches May 7 in The Café, and features a variety of new items and lots of house-made ingredients!
MINDSTRONG | MAY 18
Join the Movement for Mental Health at Mindstrong: All day on May 18, join us for Mindstrong, a day of fitness, tennis, aquatics and social activities designed to raise awareness and donations to support mental health. 100% of event proceeds & donations will benefit NAMI Cobb, as they empower individuals and families affected by mental illness through support, education, and advocacy.
Here is a look at some of our day-of events:
- Mindstrong Smoothie (all month): Enjoy ingredients known to support mental health! Our May smoothie features: Spinach, Peach, Strawberry, Yogurt, Protein, Chia Seeds, Banana & Almond Milk.
- Mindstrong – The Challenge (9:30am): Strengthen your mind and body! Join The Challenge on The Turf for a workout designed to boost mental well-being.
- Mindstrong Pilates Studio Crawl (12:00pm): enjoy practicing mindfulness, feeling the burn, lengthening and strengthening all while connecting with your Windy Hill Pilates community. In this Pilates rotation you will explore three modalities for 20 minutes each: Chair, Reformer, and Mat/Spine Corrector.
- Mindstrong SwimStrong Relay & Social (3:00pm): The relay kicks off with a coach-led warm-up, followed by a 3-length relay race. Winners will be rewarded with a Windy Hill Sweatshirt, and we’ll finish things off with refreshments.

MUSIC MONDAY JAM | MAY 20
Join us in The Café for live music by John Valentino, special offers on bites and beverages, and a sampling of Sweetwater Brewery’s craft beers.
MEMORIAL DAY POOL PARTY | MAY 25
Join us for a complimentary Memorial Day pool party for all members, from 11:00am – 2:00pm! There will be fun for the whole family with a DJ and entertainment, delicious food trucks (w/ a variety of food available for purchase), and refreshments from the cafe including desserts, drinks, and light appetizers.
