At Midtown, we believe there’s no stronger foundation for well-being than a connection to something bigger than ourselves.
This month, everything we offer – from our classes and events to our active communities and summer programs – is designed to empower you to prioritize your mental health. We’ll be creating opportunities to connect, learn, and rediscover the strength that comes from feeling supported, because we’re stronger when connected.

EVENTS
NEW SEASONAL MENU | MAY 6
We believe that self-care starts with what you put on your plate, so come explore delicious dishes designed to fuel your well-being and leave you feeling energized. Our new menu launches May 6, in The Cafe and features all-new items like a variety of delicious bowls & salads.
MINDSTRONG | MAY 18
Join the Movement for Mental Health at Mindstrong: All day on May 18, join us for Mindstrong, a day of fitness, tennis, and social activities designed to raise awareness and donations to support mental health. 100% of event proceeds & donations will benefit NAMI Rochester, as they empower individuals and families affected by mental illness through support, education, and advocacy.
Can’t Make It? You can still support. Midtown will donate $1 to NAMI for every member check-in on May 18. You can also directly support NAMI Rochester’s mission all month long, here.
SUMMER PROGRAMMING BLITZ | MAY 24
Stop by our tables and our expert coaches will answer all your questions about our variety of summer program offerings. We offer programs for all ages and skill levels, from tennis, to aquatics, to personal training, designed to lift you up, motivate you and celebrate your achievements with your Midtown community.
MENTAL HEALTH YOGA WORKSHOPS IN SAMAHDI | MAY 11 & 18
Enjoy practicing mindfulness, relaxation and movement while connecting with your Midtown yoga community, in one of our mental-health focused yoga workshops:
- Baby and Me Yoga with Amy Aronson: For babies 6 weeks – early crawlers with their parent or caregiver. Connect with your baby through movement, sound, and songs to make yoga fun and interactive for all. May 11, 1:00pm – 1:45pm.
- Narrative Practice with Aimee Connors: An Em-BODY-ed Conversation: Integrating Narrative Practice with Yoga and Body-Oriented movement. Narrative Practice is the skill of examining how you speak to yourself. In this workshop we will pair practices from narrative therapy with yoga, restorative poses and movement to create a dynamic conversation between the mind, heart and body. May 11, 2:00pm – 3:30pm.
- Introduction to Mindfulness with Erica Ebert: Explore the art of being present in the moment. Learn to cultivate inner peace, reduce stress and enhance overall wellness. May 18, 1:00pm – 2:00pm.

MEMORIAL DAY POOL PARTY | MAY 27
Celebrate summer and Memorial Day with a fun-filled pool party from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm! This event features an inflatable obstacle course for kids, balloon twisting, cornhole, and arts and crafts. Freeze pops will be available to keep everyone cool. Entry is free for members, but guest fees apply.

Shake things up this summer! Our summer programs offer something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a new hobby, a fresh fitness approach, or a chance to learn a new skill. From tennis and aquatics to personal training, we have programs designed to energize you, keep you motivated, and help you celebrate your achievements alongside your Windy Hill community. MEMORIAL DAY TENNIS MIXER | MAY 25 Kick summer off with our Memorial Day Tennis Mixer from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Meet fellow players, challenge yourself on the court, and celebrate the start of summer with some friendly competition.

Outdoor tennis courts are officially open for the season starting May 27.

KIDS NIGHT OUT | MAY 3
This Friday from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, join us for Kids Night Out, hosted by Kidtown! Kids will enjoy a pizza party and then rotate through fun activities and game stations!
CAMP MIDTOWN: SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION IS LIVE
From the pool to the tennis courts and everything in between, Camp Midtown offers kids a memorable camp experience. We also offer tennis-specific summer camps for kids to improve their on-court skills in a motivating and fun environment. Book your preferred session today!
