Kidtown Reopening Information & Procedures
To ensure the safety of your children, we are implementing several new health and safety targeted procedures, including participation and ratio limits, social distancing, and enhanced cleaning protocols — such as routine hard surface sanitization using AOS solution and airPHX air circulation sanitizing system.
Please take a moment to carefully read through and familiarize yourself with new procedures outlined below.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE ARRIVAL
- It is strongly suggested from the Governor’s office that anyone ages 3+ wear a mask.
- Upon reopening, we will have modified hours of operation for Kidtown.
- Monday thru Friday - Open from 7:45 am to 1:30 pm, 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm
- Saturday - Open from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm
- Sunday - Open from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm
- Since there is limited space, Kidtown will only be available to members with child(ren) on their account who are between 2 years and 8 years of age and fully potty trained.
- Reservations are required as we can no longer accept drop-ins.
- Reservations can be made by calling Kidtown at 770-657-1779.
- You can reserve time up to 1.5 hours, on the hour or half hour.
- Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance to avoid a no-show fee of $25.
- No outside food, drink, or toys will be permitted in Kidtown, with the exception of a water cup (must have a lid and be labeled with child’s name).
- Parents will not be allowed behind the check-in desk.
- You may be turned away if you or your child(ren) have been exposed to the virus, show any of the major symptoms associated with COVID-19 (fever, bad cough, difficulty breathing, respiratory problems) or any 2 of the minor symptoms associated with COVID-19 (chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste/smell).
- Members who are turned away due to the above instances will not be able to return until they are symptom-free for 72 hours without the aid of medication.
- Members who refuse to participate in any part of the screening process will be turned away.
UPON ARRIVAL
- We will be using a 1-in/1-out sign in technique.
- Limit one parent or guardian per family at check-in.
- If someone is checking in ahead of you, you will need to wait outside the glass door until they exit.
- Please keep 6 feet distance if others are waiting as well.
- When you enter the room, please use the hand sanitizer provided on the wall for you and your child(ren).
- We will conduct a quick screening process before allowing children to enter through the gate.
- We will use a contactless thermometer to record your child’s temperature.
- The associate will ask a few questions to assess any health risk.
- You will check-in using your membership scan card or tell the associate your name to look you up in the system.
- Give the associate any additional instructions they need for your child(ren).
- A pager will be assigned to you and you are expected to return it immediately after being paged for child pick up.
AT PICK UP
- The parent/guardian that dropped off must be the same person that picks up.
- Pagers must be placed in the blue basket at the check-in desk to be sanitized. Please do not hand the pager directly to the associate.
- In order to ensure proper social distancing and capacity restrictions, you will be required to return at the original reserved pick up time (even if you are running late for drop off).
