Kidtown Reopening Information & Procedures
To ensure the safety of your children, we are implementing several new health and safety targeted procedures, including the wearing of face coverings by children and Kidtown associates at all times, appointment-only check ins and ratio limits, social distancing, and enhanced cleaning protocols — such as routine hard surface sanitization using AOS solution and airPHX air circulation sanitizing system.
Please take a moment to carefully read through and familiarize yourself with new procedures outlined below.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL
- A reservation is required for entry (drop-ins will not be accepted for any Kidtown participation).
- Up to a 90-minute reservation may be made for any of the following time periods on weekdays.
- Monday thru Friday (Morning Hours) 7:30–9:30 am, 10:00–12:00 pm
- Monday thru Thursday (Afternoon/Evenings) 3:30–5:30 pm, 6:00–8:00 pm
- Friday (Afternoon Hours) 3:30–5:30 pm
- Saturday and Sunday (Weekend Hours) 7:30–9:30 am, 10:00–12:00 pm
- Morning Kidtown times will take reservations for children 3 years to 8 years old.
- Afternoon and Evening Kidtown times will take reservations for children 3 years to 12 years old.
- Weekend Kidtown times will take reservations for children 3 years to 12 years old.
- Reservations can be made 3 days in advance by emailing TWCPOSKidtown@midtown.com or calling 954-400-6810.
- Our new half-hour breaks between reservation periods will be used to clean and sanitize Kidtown.
- Family and Parent/Child memberships may participate (limited one reservation per membership, per day).
- We request that reservation cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Snacks and drinks will not be provided – your child(ren) may bring a water cup clearly labeled with their full name.
- If a child becomes ill while attending Kidtown, the child will be removed from the group (accompanied by a counselor) and the parent will be contacted to pick up them up.
- Whether dropping-off or picking-up children, parents are requested to be prompt.
UPON ARRIVAL
- At the start of a reservation period, parents with children will wait at the Kidtown entry on arrival.
- Only 1 family at a time will be allowed inside the lobby of Kidtown to enable proper social distancing.
- Parents will provide a mobile phone number in the event contacting the parent is necessary.
- Prior to entry, all children will have their temperature checked and parents will answer a brief health appraisal to assure their child does not have symptoms of illness.
- If a child has a fever of 100.2 degrees or higher the child will not be permitted to enter Kidtown, and parents will be encouraged to see a health care provider.
- In addition to a temperature check and health appraisal, a child will not be allowed access if they have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, show any symptoms associated with COVID-19 (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, respiratory problems, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or loss of taste/smell).
- In the event of signs of these symptoms, a child will not be able to return to Kidtown until symptom free for 72 hours without the aid of medication.
- Children may not bring personal items from home while attending Kidtown for sanitization purposes.
- Parents will not be allowed past the Kidtown check-in counter, again for screening and sanitization purposes.
- Access will be denied for refusal to participate in any part of the screening process.
AT PICK-UP
- Parents are expected to pick up their child promptly at the end of their reservation period.
- Whichever parent that dropped-off a child will be expected to pick-up that child.
- Please be timely in the pickup of children, it will help us all keep the process moving safely and smoothly.
