Interested in getting involved with tennis at Midtown? Find answers to our most frequently asked questions below.
Comfort is key. We recommend wearing athletic clothing and smooth-soled tennis shoes for clay courts or non-marking soles for hard courts. Tank tops and cut-off jeans are not permitted, and shirts are required both indoors and outdoors.
Absolutely! Starting September 1st, we will be offering demo racquets available in the Club boutique. These are perfect for trying out different options before you buy. Demo racquets are subject to availability upon arrival. There is no fee for demo racquets.
Easy! You can sign up for Cardio Tennis through your online member portal. Just log in to your portal from the website and navigate to the Cardio Tennis section.
Ready to learn how to play tennis? Tennis in No Time® (TNT) is our signature program designed to take you from beginner to tennis player in just four weeks! This fun and social program includes four weekly instructional sessions and two social mixers. There’s no need to buy expensive gear beforehand, we’ll provide you with a racquet each week and you can even purchase one of your own at a special rate. Learn more and enroll online here.
Reserving your court time is easy! Here are your options:

- Call the Club: Prefer a personal touch? Give us a call at 514-737-0000 and our friendly staff will be happy to assist you.

Court reservations can be made for blocks of one, one and a half, or two hours. Please note: a member’s name can only appear on one reservation per day
Thinking about court costs? We’ve got you covered:

· Non-Prime Time (September – May): $45/hour (6 am – 7 am & 9 pm – 10 pm)

· Prime Time (September – May): $55/hour (7 am – 9 pm)

· Summer Rates (June – August): All indoor courts are $25/hour.

· Outdoor Courts: Complimentary year-round, with a one-hour reservation limit per day.

Remember, any cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a charge for the full court reservation. The member who made the original reservation will be responsible for this fee.

Looking for more of a personalized experience? Private tennis lessons are a great way to get personalized instruction and improve your game quickly. The cost of a private lesson is $102 + tax.

Ready to Hit the Courts? Once you arrive at the Club for your reserved time, head to the hospitality desk. Our staff adjusts court placements daily to ensure the best possible experience for all players. They’ll let you know exactly which court is yours so you can get started right away!
Here’s a quick rundown of our court reservation policies:
- Book in Advance: Reservations open 7 days and 1 hour in advance, meaning before you hop on your court this week, you can reserve the same time for next week.
- Multiple Booking Options: Reserve your court online through the member portal, in person at the Club, or by phone (call 514-737-0000 between 7 am and closing time).
- Waitlist Option: Didn’t get your preferred time? Join the waitlist online or by phone (514-737-0000) and we’ll contact you if a spot opens.
- Playing with Others? Include all player names in your reservation. Court fees will be automatically split among the players listed.
- Multiple Players? To avoid delays, ensure all players check in with the Hospitality Desk before your court time begins.
- One Reservation per Day: Members can only have one court reservation per day. Additional play may be possible based on availability – just check with the Hospitality Desk.
- Reservation Length: You can reserve courts for one, one and a half, or two hours.
- Cancellations: Cancellations must be made in person or by phone. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a full court charge for the reserving member.
Absolutely! The court fee will be automatically divided among the players listed on your reservation.

Tennis and squash lesson fees are readily available! Just log in to your member portal, navigate to the tennis lesson section, and you’ll find all the pricing details. Alternatively, you can call the Club at 514-737-0000 to inquire.
Unfortunately, participation in all lesson programs requires a Midtown membership.
Here’s a quick breakdown of our court operating hours:

- Indoor Courts: Weekdays: 6 am-10 pm, Weekends: 8 am-8 pm
- Outdoor Courts: Weekdays: 8 am-10 pm, Weekends: 8 am-8 pm
Guests are welcome! However, a guest can only participate with you on your reserved court a maximum of 3 times within a 12-month period.
