PLAYING TENNIS

I was new to the neighborhood when I joined Midtown. I love to play tennis and was looking to meet new people, so joining Midtown was a no brainer. I worked on improving my game by:

• Taking tennis clinics
• Playing for a competitive team

I joined the team in 2006, and since then my game has improved tremendously. Tennis is a challenge — both physically and mentally — and I rise to that challenge every time I play, developing new skills and improving my ranking year after year. There’s also the social aspect. I love being on a team with nine other women. It has helped me make new friends very quickly.
