Coaches  | Raphael Lima Aquatics Director/Head Coach
Raphael was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He started swimming when he was 12 on one of the best swim teams in Brazil- Esporte Clube Pinheiros Sao Paulo- where he swam for more than 10 years. He is a former world-class swimmer who was a member of the Brazilian National Team, and has participated in and won several championships during his swimmer career.
He attended UNIFMU Metropolitan University of São Paulo – Brazil where graduated with honors in Physical Education. After that, he finished his post gradute education in Sports Training and Personal Training at the University of Campinas in Campinas, Brazil and presently holds a Master’s Degree.
As a swim coach and physical education teacher, he worked for UNIFMU Metropolitan University of São Paulo. He also worked at two schools in Sao Paulo. At Reebok Sports Club he was a trainer’s coordinator and swimming coach for children, teenagers and adults. Raphael developed several programs for the Aquatics Department while working at Reebok, and was honored as the employee of the year in 2004.
|  | Ligia Guevara Swimming Lessons Coordinator
Ligia is originally from El Salvador. She moved to Atlanta in 1980 where she attended college and then married. Ligia has lived in Florida since 1992 and has2 daughters who are accomplished swimmers and her younger daughter a college water polo player.
Ligia has been in the swimming industry since 1995 – ASCA member and Coach Level 2 Age Group. She owned and operated a Learn to Swim Program and has successfully managed, developed, and run swimming programs and swim camps. |
 | Thaddeus Gamory Coach
Thaddeus is a member of USA Swimming and the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) Level II. He is a triathlete, USMS Masters swimmer, lifeguard and pool supervisor, as well as a former Police Academy Instructor, Lieutenant-Platoon Commander and Special Operations Officer - NYPD (retired).
Thaddeus believes that swimming is as much a life-skill as it is an athletic ability. When competitive swimming is led by a team of professional coaches who are passionate and committed, an environment is created which can build champions and individuals who acquire positive character traits, and that can influence themselves and others throughout their lives.
|  | Stacey Chilcote Coach
Stacey spent 32 years of her life in Iowa. She has recently moved to South Florida to be closer to her family and is the mother of two beautiful daughters. Swimming and fitness have been a huge part of her life. She has been a competitive swimmer since age 5, was captain of her high school swim team and swam for the University of Kansas. In addition, Stacey has competed in bodybuilding is also back in the pool again training for Masters Meets. Currently USA Swimming and ASCA level 1 certified, she plans on continuing her certifications to the highest level possible.
